For 135 years the YMCA of the Inland Northwest has been the backbone of our community, providing a place for children to learn and grow, for families to bond and play, and for seniors to socialize and stay active.
Now our doors are shuttered and our programs suspended as we do our part to fight the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
But when we get through this, the Y will again throw open our doors and be that welcoming home for our community where we can all gather to come together and heal. Kids will again prepare for school in our early learning centers, families will leave their homes to play in our pools, and seniors will overcome the social isolation of these past weeks by rejoining their friends to be active.
Now we need your help so that we can continue to make this difference for our community. While most of our operations remain closed, our revenue has decreased significantly. By donating today, you'll ensure that the YMCA you love and remember will be here to help those in need and to face the new challenges that will emerge once we've successfully beaten this pandemic.
The YMCA is an Inland Northwest institution. Having persevered through the 1918 pandemic, the Great Depression and two World Wars, you need only to look to our history and know that better days will return.
Stay safe, stay well. We can't wait to see you soon!
